A call center planning to hire more than 100 workers in Wausau by early next year still has positions available, despite good turnout for its recent job fair, officials said.

located in Meridian, Idaho is doing just that, recently revealing hiring plans for 100 new jobs at the location.
Global Response, a call center business in Margate, is hiring an
additional 100 customer-service workers for the holiday sales season,
said Wendy Shooster, co-owner of the family-operated business.
MAU Workforce Solutions is seeking to fill 100-plus call center representative positions through Dec. 5.
The available jobs result from increased demand from a local client. The
positions are in Augusta and will be responsible for handling inbound
customer service-oriented calls, according to a release.
Avod Producstswill keep its customer service call center and
returned goods processing operation at its Springdale facility.
The company had announced in July 2009
that it would be closing its Springdale facility by mid-2012, but it
has decided only to shutter manufacturing operations at the property.
ACS, a Xerox company, announced Tuesday that it is adding 200 new jobs at its Lexington, Ky. call center. Xerox and ACS currently employ about 5,000 people in Kentucky, including 3,000 people in Lexington
Ryla Inc. will hire 700 holiday customer service jobs immediately at its Kennesaw, Ga., call center.
The Kennesaw-based company said the new jobs are the final round of hiring for a recurring annual, seasonal project.
